The crowd outside the classroom grew thicker, voices murmuring in hushed tones, feeding off the chaos inside. Veer and Rudra approached with heavy steps, their presence cutting through the tension like a knife. Veerโ€™s jaw was clenched so tightly it seemed like it might shatter, while Rudraโ€™s eyes burned with an icy fury. Without hesitating, Veer shoved the bystanders aside, followed closely by Rudra, their combined aura silencing the whispers as the crowd parted for them.

..

As they stepped into the classroom, the sight made Veerโ€™s blood boil. His fists curled tightly, veins popping along his forearms as rage overtook his usual calm demeanor. His sister, Sia, sat on the floor, battered and bruised, shielding Aisha, who lay motionless, her face stained with tears and smudged colors. The cruel laughter from the bullies still echoed in the room, a sound that only fueled his fury.

For the first time, Veerโ€™s anger reached its peak, his face darkened by an expression so intense that even Rudra momentarily glanced at him, recognizing the quiet storm brewing. But Rudra didnโ€™t wait. His loud, commanding voice boomed across the classroom, silencing the commotion instantly.

โ€œEVERYONE STOP!โ€ he roared, his tone slicing through the room like thunder.

The bullies froze mid-action, the smirk on Riyaโ€™s face vanishing instantly. Her confidence faltered, and panic spread across her features as her eyes darted between Rudra and Veer.

Veer wasted no time. He pushed forward toward Sia and Aisha, his eyes softening only slightly when they landed on his sisterโ€™s trembling form. โ€œSiaโ€ฆโ€ he whispered under his breath, his voice breaking ever so slightly. He knelt beside her and Aisha, gently helping Sia to her feet.

Rudraโ€™s gaze, however, was locked on Riya. His sharp eyes bore into her, and as he stepped closer, she instinctively backed away. The usual bravado in her posture crumbled as Rudra loomed over her, his fists clenched and his tone dangerously low.

โ€œYouโ€™ve done enough,โ€ he hissed, his words carrying the weight of suppressed rage. โ€œIโ€™ve ignored the complaints about your bullying for too long. But this?โ€ He gestured toward Sia and Aisha. โ€œThis is where it ends.โ€

Riya stammered, trying to form a reply, but Rudra cut her off, his voice rising with authority. โ€œNo one is going to help you this time, Riya. Not your friends, not your so-called status, and definitely not your father. You crossed a line, and now, youโ€™ll face the consequences.โ€

The room was silent except for Aishaโ€™s soft whimpers. Riyaโ€™s gang stood frozen, their eyes darting nervously between Rudra and Veer. For the first time, they understood the power these two boys heldโ€” as leaders of the school.

Veer gently helped Sia stand, his strong arms supporting her weight. Aisha tried to move but stumbled, her body too weak from the bullying. โ€œShe needs medical attention,โ€ Veer muttered, his voice thick with concern.

Sia nodded weakly, her face painted with pain but still managing to muster strength. โ€œBhaiya, take her to the medical room. Donโ€™t worry about me. Aisha needs help more than I do,โ€ she said, her voice cracking but filled with resolve.

Veer hesitated for a moment, his protective instincts battling against her words. But seeing the determination in her eyes, he eventually scooped Aisha into his arms. โ€œIโ€™ll be back,โ€ he promised, his tone leaving no room for argument, and walked out of the classroom with urgency.

...

Sia, meanwhile, tried to follow, her injured leg dragging behind her. Her body was covered in colors, her steps slow and unsteady. She winced with every move, but she pushed forward, her eyes focused on the hallway ahead.

But before she could take another step, strong arms lifted her off the ground. A gasp escaped her lips as she looked up, her heart skipping a beat when she saw who it was. Rudra.

โ€œWhat are you looking at?โ€ he said coldly, though his tone lacked its usual sharpness. It wasnโ€™t soft, but it wasnโ€™t as harsh as Sia had come to expect from him.

โ€œNothingโ€ฆ just shocked,โ€ Sia mumbled, her hands instinctively locking behind his neck for support.

โ€œGood. Then stop wasting time and stay still,โ€ Rudra snapped, his eyes focused ahead as he began walking toward the medical room.

Sia couldnโ€™t help but stare at him, her thoughts spinning. This was the same Rudra who had always been so distant. And yet here he was, carrying her as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

โ€œYou know,โ€ Sia said, her voice breaking the silence, โ€œfor someone whoโ€™s always so rude, youโ€™re being surprisingly decent right now.โ€

Rudraโ€™s jaw tightened, but he didnโ€™t reply.

โ€œAnd what was that back there with Riya?โ€ she continued, her tone light but curious. โ€œYou scared her so much, I thought she was going to faint.โ€

โ€œGood,โ€ Rudra muttered, his grip on her tightening slightly. โ€œPeople like her deserve to be put in their place and have special place in hell for them.โ€

Sia smiled faintly, her exhaustion catching up with her. โ€œYouโ€™re not as bad as you pretend to be, Rudra.โ€

โ€œDonโ€™t push your luck,โ€ he warned, but there was no malice in his words.

As they reached the medical room, Veer turned to see Rudra carrying Sia. His eyes softened with gratitude, though his expression remained serious. Rudra gently set Sia down on the nearest chair, his eyes flickering over her injuries before stepping back.

โ€œTake care of her,โ€ he said to Veer before turning to leave, his usual cold demeanor returning.

TIME SKIP

Aisha, Nisha, and Sia had finally changed into fresh clothes after a long and exhausting day. The weight of the events still lingered in the air, but there was an odd sense of warmth between them.

Sia, never one to stay quiet for long, turned towards Aisha, her voice filled with concern. "Are you okay?" she asked, tilting her head, her wide eyes scanning Aishaโ€™s face for any signs of discomfort.

Aisha, still a little overwhelmed by everything that had happened, simply nodded in response. A soft but hesitant smile tugged at her lips.

Sia let out a dramatic sigh of relief, clasping her hands together. โ€œFinally! I feel like a war hero. Someone please write an epic about my suffering." she teased, her voice playful.

Nisha giggled, nudging Aisha lightly. "Ignore her, Aisha. She just wants attention."

Sia gasped, placing a hand over her chest as if Nisha had deeply wounded her. "Excuse me?! I am a very concerned and responsible friend!"

Before Aisha could react, the door suddenly swung open with a loud bang, making all three of them jump in surprise.

Veer stormed in first, his brows furrowed in frustration, followed closely by Rudra and Eklavya. Rudra, as usual, looked uninterested, standing slightly behind with his arms crossed, his sharp gaze scanning the room but betraying no emotions. Eklavya, on the other hand, had an amused expression, as if he already knew what was about to happen.

Veerโ€™s eyes locked onto the three girls sitting comfortably on the bed. His face darkened.

"What the hell do you three think youโ€™re doing?" he barked, his voice filled with concern but laced with frustration. "You should be resting! Do you even understand how reckless you are?"

โ€œUnbelievable! You three were half-dead a few hours ago, and now youโ€™re acting like this is some pajama party!?โ€

Sia and Nisha exchanged guilty glances, while Aisha instinctively lowered her head, feeling like she had been caught doing something wrong.

Rudra, standing beside Veer with his usual cold and unreadable expression, let out a scoff. โ€œWhy am I not surprised? These two donโ€™t have a serious bone in their body.โ€

Sia, never one to back down, folded her arms and huffed. โ€œExcuse me, Mr. Walking-Talking Anger Issue, we were just making sure Aisha isnโ€™t sad. You wouldnโ€™t understand because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon.โ€

"See? We are in bed. Happy now?" Sia muttered, peeking out from under the covers.

Nisha nodded vigorously. "Yes, Veer! Strict orders followed!"

Eklavya chuckled under his breath. "You two are ridiculous."

But Veer was not amused. He let out a deep sigh, rubbing his temples. His protective nature often made him impatient, especially with Sia and Nishaโ€™s never-ending antics.

"Sia, Nisha, stop acting smart," he scolded. "You both need to take care of yourselves properly. And Aishaโ€ฆ" His voice softened slightly as he turned to Aisha. "You, too. Got it?"

Aisha nodded again, her usual quiet self, though there was a strange warmth in her heart. Thisโ€ฆ care. It was new to her. She wasnโ€™t used to people looking out for her like this.

Eklavya, always the peacemaker, stepped forward with a tray of food. "Okay, lecture time is over. Now, eat."

The moment Sia laid eyes on what was on the tray, her entire face contorted in disgust. "Khichdi?! Noooo, bhaiya, I donโ€™t want to eat this!" she whined, pushing the tray away like a stubborn child.

Nisha immediately joined her, groaning. "Ugh, same! At least bring us something edible, Eklavya!"

Eklavya narrowed his eyes. "This is edible. And healthy."

Sia pouted, folding her arms. "Yeah, well, Iโ€™m not sick enough to eat this."

Veer, already losing patience, crossed his arms and pointed at Aisha, who had quietly picked up a spoon and started eating. "Look at your friend. Sheโ€™s eating without complaining. Learn something from her."

At once, both Sia and Nisha turned towards Aisha with betrayal written all over their faces.

"Aisha! How could you?!" Sia gasped, gripping her chest like she had been stabbed.

Nisha shook her head dramatically. "You were supposed to be on our side!"

Aisha, caught completely off guard, blinked at them before a small, amused smile appeared on her face. She had never met people like themโ€”people who argued over food like little kids but cared like family. It made her feelโ€ฆ safe. Like she belonged.

But before she could get lost in her thoughts, Veer clapped his hands. "Enough. Just eat quietly."

"Fineee," Sia groaned, reluctantly picking up a spoon.

Nisha sighed. "Suffering truly builds character."

Eklavya smirked. "Or in your case, just drama."
